Kosovo is grateful to Oman's Sultanate for recognising Kosovo as an Independent and Sovereign state, but in order to deepen and enhance co-operation between the two countries, the Republic of Kosovo and the Sultanate of Oman must establish diplomatic relations as the first step in this direction.
So said the number one of Kosovo diplomacy, Behgjet Pacolli, during a meeting he has held today in Pristina with Oman's ambassador of the Sultanate to London, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Zahiri Al-Hinai, who was appointed by his government to attend as guests in marking the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, reports the MJ media office.
“requested Oman Sultan's Ambassador, that co-operation between the two countries reach a higher level, starting with the establishment of diplomatic relations”, said Minister Pacolli, expressing the will and willingness of Kosovo institutions to boost inter-state co-operation.
For his part, Oman's Ambassador Al Hinai conveyed to Minister Pacolli, the wishes of Oman's Sultan for the 10th anniversary of Independence, and expressed readiness to intensify economic and government relations, the MPJ's press release conveyed.
