The Demarketing Agreement is expected to come out for a vote in the Assembly soon.
Even though earlier it was reported that this agreement will not enter the agenda at the Assembly of Parliament's Headship until the visit of Montenegro's prime minister to Kosovo is completed, this did not happen.
Periscopi has secured the document with the task force agenda, which will be held on Monday, February 5th, where the agenda point is also the review of the Bill for ratification of the State Border Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro.
Periscopi learns that the Parliament's leadership is expected to put the Demarket Agreement as the starting point in the Assembly at the next session.
Ratification of an international agreement like this requires a two-thirds majority in the Assembly, or 80 out of 120 deputies' votes.
The ruling coalition currently has 61 votes. The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, and Prime Minister Haradinaj, has 10 deputies, and they have already declared they will not support the first version of the agreement. Similarly, the six deputies of the political party have indicated the Social Democratic Initiative led by Fatmir Limaj. Against the demarcation agreement with Montenegro is the opposition Vetevendosje Movement with 32 MPs. /Periscopi/
