Daciq: Kosovo is playing fire, agreement Hashim Thaci signed should be respected

Serbia's foreign affairs minister, Ivica Dacic, has turned to statements that without Serbia there can be no stability in the region.

He has said that if Pristina wants stability it should respect the signing signed by Hashim Thaci and Catherine Ashton for Association.

Daciq, said Belgrade will not allow changes to the agreement, in which Pristina intends to propose regarding association in Kosovo.

“Pristina forgets that the Brussels agreement is signed by then Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Taci, European Union High Representative Catherine Ashton and I”, he has declared, for the beta news agency.

According to him, the agreement clearly determines what should be done and what its competencies are.

“Pristina must clearly show whether it is desired or not. Correctations will not be taken into account. If this is done, all Brussels agreements fall”, Dacic said.

He estimates that Pristina is “that it was fired at”, as it does not understand the fact that Serbs at this time are a stabilising factor in Kosovo.

The head of Serbian diplomacy says Pristina does not want dialogue for permanent resolution after having declared their state and that Belgrade should only accept that state.

“Now is easier to talk about Kosovo with the current American administration than with their predecessors, as people who are currently in the lead of the US were not active participants in developments in the region” said Dacic.
