Dacic reacts to Thaci: Russia rejects independent Kosovo

President Thaci has said recognition of Kosovo by the Russian side would influence Serbia to give up false mythology. But, Daciq at today's media conference with Russian diplomacy chief Sergey Lavrov in Belgrade, said the rhetoric “Albanian and” is the biggest threat in the region.

The most logical “would be for the US and Great Britain to attract recognition of Kosovo, and this would affect lowering rhetoric “Albanian and”, which poses the biggest threat in the region”, Dacic said. While, Sergey Lavrov said Russia has announced its position on Kosovo and that President Thaci's statement cannot change that. “He, like most politicians in Pristina, must deal with his own affairs and especially with the fact that they are accused of committing war crimes”, Lavrov said, and reiterated that Russia adheres to UN Resolution 1244 in contrast with some European countries.
