Surprisingly, though, at least 1 out of 5 children who are 2 years old have never experienced vegetables, says a new study.
The study has concluded that some parents have grown so tired of their daily struggle to feed their children with vegetables that they have stopped trying.
As a result, more than 30,000 children in Great Britain do not eat vegetables.
The study says that if this child problem is temporary, there is no harm in it.
However, if their refusal to eat calcium, protein, vitamins, and minerals may pose a risk of not developing that child.
The lack of calcium, found in milk and green vegetables, can prevent bone development and strength.
