For about 30 minutes, 7 customers have remained confined, among them three children, to the elevator of the NKMinaxi Trade Center in Pristina's “neighbourhood.

The elevator has been blocked as a result of power cuts, while none of its staff have reacted to extracting customers from the elevator.

The editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Zer”, Durim Hamid, with his wife and two little girls, was also present in the elevator.

He has shown that they have been joined by a 15-month-old baby who kept crying.

According to him, he has sometimes contacted the staff on the phone, but no one answered.

We got about 30 minutes left in the elevator, the kids kept crying. The youngest child has been a 15-month-old baby. It was a very difficult situation, since the space in the elevator began to go out of air, it indicates the horror experienced.

Hamid explains he's contacted the police, and the others have arrived with the firemen and opened the elevator doors.

He asks the relevant inspectors to take steps against these irresponsible businesses, since, according to him, they have failed to activate the generator in half an hour.

Imagine if the phone wouldn't work either. The danger has been too great for children to be asphyxiated”, it has shown.
