Kosovo's Special Prosecutor through a communiqué for the media has indicated that Chief State Prosecutor Alexander Lumez has visited Ferizaj's Founding Prosecutor today, where he has analysed the work of this prosecutor together with Chief Prosecutor Shukri Jashar and the prosecutors of this prosecutor.
Lumez has praised all Ferizaj Prosecutors for the efficiency they have shown so far, even with the absence of prosecutors and support staff. The founding prosecutor in Ferizaj, during 2017, has committed 5856 criminal cases with known persons while only 509 cases remain unresolved.
Lumez has asked Ferizaj prosecutors to prioritize corruption substances and smuggling materials with banned goods and trade.
The first state prosecutor has demanded that Ferizaj's Constitutional Prosecutorship should establish co-operation with other institutions like Kosovo Police, Customs and Kosovo Tax Administration.
Lumez has also demanded that the seizure and sequencing of illegally acquired goods have priority over all prosecutors, as well as has demanded that any substance be represented and protected with dignity at the tribunal.
While Ferizaj's chief prosecutor, Shukri Jashari, said that despite the efficiency shown so far by the prosecutors of this prosecutor, they will commit even more to performing all the subjects they accept in this prosecutor.
