Austrian official answers Pacolli: These statements bring bloodshed

Deputy Prime Minister Behgjet Pacolli has considered the statement by Austrian Deputy Vice-Cencerian Strache as reckless, that Kosovo's North autonomy should be granted. Pacolli has said that such ideas bring bloodshed.

“Declarations like this of Asutria's deputy commander are reckless and do not contribute to resolving any exacerbated situation in Kosovo”, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli has said.

“We thank Austria for the great contribution it has made to Kosovo and the region, but we strongly reject the sub-cancellari declaration, considering that that declaration was given without knowing the real situation in Kosovo”, he added.

Kosovo's top diplomat has rejected other ideas for the exchange of territories and division of Kosovo. He has said that such ideas bring war.

Any initiative of this nature can open Pandora's Box and create situations that bring bloodshed. Kosovo has declared its independence and has been recognised by most states of the world, so the focus of all should be the fight against organised crime and the security of all citizens in northern Kosovo”, Pacolli added to Express.
