In a proposal for Periscope from Pyongchang, Tahiri says he would like to have Kosovo athletes held in South Korea, where the Winter Olympic Games are being held.
I'm very proud to represent my country and to be writing history at the Winter Olympics. I also hope that Kosovo citizens boast of their first participation here”, he said.
Tahiri says he feels even under pressure because he is the first participation in Kosovo in these games.
“Of course I feel a little under pressure”, Tahiri said.
He says Kosovo athletes have great potential, seeking better conditions for them.
I would like more athletes from Kosovo to be here. I believe in Kosovo some athletes have potential and hope to see them as participants in the Winter Olympic Games next year. They should provide better conditions”, Tahiri told Periscope.
Kosovo skier Albin Tahiri will compete in all Olympic alpine disciplines.
To follow him and the Kosovo Olympic team, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci was in southern Korea. /Periscopi/
