Kosovo skier Albin Tahiri will hold the fifth and final competition at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea in midweek.
Tahiri, the only Kosovo athlete and the first ever in the Winter Olympic Games, will compete in slalom discipline Thursday.
The competition will take place at the YongPyong ski centre, about 15 kilometers from PyongChang, South Korea. The races will begin at 2 o'clock with our local time.
As a debut athlete and the first in Kosovo's history at the Games, Tahiri has been relatively successful by reaching the end of all four races, despite difficult conditions for racing, especially in alpine combination.
In the first race in the Games in the discipline, alpine combination Tahiri took 37th place from 65 overall contestants. Two days later, in the launch race, he emerged 50th from 57 overall contestants.
A day before Kosovo's 10th anniversary of Independence, he competed in super slalom, where he ranked 47th out of 62 contestants.
While, in the recent race at the Games, the one of the great slalom, out of 110 contestants, Tahiri managed to take 56th place. /Express/
