In honour of the 20th anniversary of the fall of legendary Commander Adem Jashar and the Age of Kosovo Liberation Army, a special mosaic will be established in Prezak, is this portrait of Adam, worked with about 200 thousand bullet shells. Over the past few years, the 27-year-old from the village of Nekovc of the Darena municipality of Besart Gashi, deals with a special art, using different techniques in the formation of portraits and artistic figures.

At first, the artist in question has done woodwork, which is known to date, but last year he has built a very special mosaic, with rare materials, bullet shells.

As with other works, his mosaic has national content, has usually carved and carved, the faces of Kosovo heroes, to continue his tradition with the image of Adam Jashar, the legendary commander who created it last year by 5 thousand shells, to multiply it by 200 thousand bullets.

Besart with this creation aims to be known even outside Kosovo, and his goal goes to the famous Guinness Book, in which he is expected to break the record with the mosaic that has the format of 5,500, or 25 square metres.

It for Kosova Prees, has revealed other details about this project, where it has shown that a total of 20 days of work have been needed to carry out the project that he himself assumed, but his work was in co-operation with family and friends who have voluntarily expressed their willingness to help.

About 200 thousand rounds of shells. I've been working on this for November 28th of last year, I've worked on a port, same logo, this mosaic, only small size, with 5 thousand pieces of bullet shell. Today is the 20th day I'm working, and the two shifts are working, so we work, but now it's come to the end of”, he said.

Even my employees volunteerly, who have the desire to come to help me, I have my brothers, my cousins, that is, we are all committed to volunteer work. After completion, on March 5th, it will be located in Prekaz, at the Memorial complex, where it will be exposed, it will remain three days”, he added.

The Kosovo artist has not yet decided where his mosaic will be transferred after March 7th, as he initially claims to realise his goal, to be on the Guinness list.

In the end, he did not forget to thank even those who helped him materially and morally. Among his sponsors were the family of the Nation's Heroi Gashi, range “Lent” and that “Katana”, Bau Market, Recko, firm “100% Design”, as well as the Kosovo Police, along with the KSF.

Gashi, his art is promoting him with small material aid and expects support from the country's institutions to enable the “lives of such art” in Kosovo.
