Two twin cars and firearms have left at least 27 people dead and 20 others injured in Mogadishu's Somali capital, the medics said.
A noisy explosion reportedly occurred on Friday, followed by a second blast, and fire broke out near the president's residence. The second blast occurred near a popular hotel, reports “Al Jazeera”, Periscopi broadcast.
The ambulance service, which confirmed the death toll, carried victims to the hospital.
The armed al-Shabab group is allegedly responsible for this deadly attack.
