Zaev shows who helped Gruevski escape

Macedonia's Prime Minister Zoran Zaev in last night's debate on television “TV 24” has claimed there are doubts that, in former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski's escape, even the current party leader was involved V MRO- DPMNE, Hristian Mickoski, broadcast Portalalal.mk.

Doubts come, for what Zaev said, because Mickoski has had meetings with Hungary's prime minister, Viktor Orban and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, but after meetings he has not announced what they have been talking about. He has stressed that he cannot prove that perhaps those meetings have also been talked about Gruevski's escape.

I need to say more, but I'm not right because the investigation is still going on. It is not normal that the one who has fled the state, but we will see who is guilty, if anyone has, the investigation will show and he will be responsible”, Zaev said.

Prime Minister Zaev has stressed that much caution is taken in Gruevski's extradition, in order not to disrupt the neighbourhood with Hungary, which should vote on Macedonia's NATO membership protocol.

Hungary must vote for the protocol for NATO membership”, Zaev said, and has added that with Orban, it will not seek a separate meeting for Gruevski, but since meetings in Davos and international conferences will follow, it will be possible to meet with him and open Gruevski's topic.

Zaev has also talked about the amnesty law, and has stressed that at this moment, when the state faces the possibility of realising strategic interests, it is necessary that all shake hands.

The main target of the horrible event on April 27th was me, and since then I stressed that I was forgiving, but I stressed that it was a matter of our personal feelings. We can't share justice, and the legal system needs to work, and for that we've offered such a decision, where it becomes clear who has participated in violence, who has been undercover, who was the organizer and who was the ideal. Prime Minister Zaev has also spoken of constitutional changes, which are expected to be voted on January 15th. Although the amnesty law was a prerequisite for the “vote for” of 80 independent deputies, Zaev has stressed that it is not sure it has 80 votes.
