Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has said that we meet the needs of the Republic of Kosovo in terms of the number of judges within our judicial system.
Tahiri responding to MPs has also spoken of professional collaborators. “During 2017-2018, the Kosovo Judiciary Council has already begun work 94 new judges as a result of support from the Ministry of Finance. There are also 37 conscripts, which is in completion of the recruiting process, and in the next week the competition for 27 young people is launched, totaling the number of new judges within 2017-2018 and the next three months of 2019, will be 158 that means that we meet the needs of the Republic of Kosovo in terms of the number of judges within our judicial system. As for the question of professional collaborators, as the finance minister put it, the total number was 295 for both of the councils for 2018, somewhere in mass 70 %s has been completed”, he said.
Tahiri added that there are 240 new positions in the Kosovo Judiciary Council will be met over the next year, Kosovo Preress reports.
