The cold autumn days have alarmed residents living in new collective dwellings because of the heating problem. In the absence of a lock on the Termoco heating network, they are forced to find other options to warm up.

This is because most of the new residential facilities are not locked into the Temoko network, thus being excluded from the possibility of steam heating.

And the problem gets bigger when there are reductions in electricity, as most residents of the new complex use the heating current.

ECDS's recent reductions have disturbed Emin Halit, resident of Matti 1 neighbourhood. The fact that the radiators of the complex he lives in are not locked into the steam heating system has prompted him to install the central heating system.

But he says this does not serve as an adequate solution either.

When the current is out, we have a problem especially with those who have young children, it's cold and hard to deal with... When the current stops, we wait until it gets here. We don't have alternative heating. So we hope that soon this problem will be solved by the municipality, so that we can join the city's central warming”, he said.

Even resident of the “B”, Hakki Tahirukaj, is disappointed that this part of the city does not enjoy steam heating.

There's no heat right now. It's not lying here yet. It's not cold yet. During the winter, there may be power cuts and we will surely have problems”, Haliti said.

He has indicated to Kosovo that they have received promises several times that this issue will be resolved, as long as he expresses his concerns if KEDS continues with reductions of the current. While he says they pay too much for the energy spent.

I'd probably be connected to the price it was more reasonable, and warming would have been better, better. Once they said this year, if not, next year”, he added.

While she is Termoko's spokeswoman, Aferdita Uka, who says that the demand to be supplied with the steam heating from Thermokos is so high that according to her, it is impossible for the capacities currently available.

However, she is convinced that for residents of this area, this will be the last winter without steam heating, since it says that in the coming spring of the year the complexes along the main road will be locked in the thermocot thermal heating system. But what it looks like because of the inability to lock everyone up, there will be categories.

We are waiting for the European Commission to inform us of the company that has been selected for the performance of field work, which is expected to begin in the spring of next year, means with the end of the heating season 2018-2019... For new construction, for the new municipal collective buildings of Pristina, there will be expansion of the heating network for buildings stretching across the street to the Kalabria neighborhood and the Arab residences, but not for the entire part of Kalabria neighbourhood where these building is”, she said.

But heating problems also have old living quarters on the Sun Coast, near the monument “Enver Maloku”.

Annie why she's connected to Termoco, this part of town, doesn't get enough steam for heat.

One of the residents of the area, once a technical magistrate, Nijazi Tafilaj, explains in detail what the problem is.

Meanwhile, he, like many other families, says that they use electricity to warm up.

“Gypi does not come from the direct Sun Hill hospital in quantity to warm the heating system of this neighborhood. It's the technical rate for getting the apartment mad. Because it's 4 bar pressure, it's supposed to be 75 degrees Celsius. You're looking at the students. These are never achieved. When it's not achieved today, when temperatures are around zero, imagine how they'll be when temperatures are below zero. Besides, these buildings are made of concrete, 20cm thick. These have all the conditions for feeling the cold. And the people who are on high ground floors have winter gasp for heating... We use the power. Some families have also gone to wood heating, but most are electric. It's big bills, it's got to be a little bit of a multi-11x1>, he says.

Warming problems in this section confirm Uka. She says that due to the sudden power halt, she has suffered a major network damage, which she says has upset the entire heating system for all consumers.

And it points out that they are committed to recovery.

We're trying to stabilize the thermal power supply. The rest of the customers for a short time have improved, but for “The Sungg” goes a little slower because of geographical configuration because it's also the highest point in relation to the thermocosin, and the highest point that we heat in”, she suggested.

And because of citizens' complaints of electricity reductions, Kosova Prees has also contacted KEDS to get an answer to what's happening about problems that are being caused to citizens for heating.

Thus, KED spokesman Viktor Buzhala has responded that electricity is not destined to be used for heating. /N. Jakupi.
