The Albanian Rrugor Authority (ARRSH) has announced that on 4 January, the Tirana-Durra highway will be closed because it will launch emergency intervention to improve the flood situation in the Tirana/Kashar segment.
THE RER explains that there will be a traffic deviation after 0500 on January 4th.
The Rhugor Authority urges the leaders of the means to rigorously comply with road rules, pro-visual signals placed in the segments where it will be worked, and police guidelines.

Albania's Road Authority and Rogor Circulation Police inform the media and public opinion that starting from date 4 January 2019 an hour in the morning, under the World Bank's performance maintenance project, the emergency intervention for improving the flood situation with the construction of two (2) tombins in the road segment (austrada) Tirana;Qafe Kashaar (Renas) at mile 6+600 and 6+800 Alba-Elettrica). Works are designed to be implemented according to the graph of approved works.
ARSH and RRanding Police seek understanding and co-operation of the area's drivers and businesses during the intervention process in this road segment and rigorously respect for established pro-visual signals and road police guidelines on the ground.
On the part of Albania's Road Authority and the Road Circulation Police has drafted an operational plan of intervention and traffic evasion to avoid traffic jams and ensure the maintenance of work on the ground.
For this reason during the time of doing these works:
1. The Tirana highway. Hands in the Kamez Overpass segment Overpass Qafe Kasar, Rinas will be completely closed for traffic in both directions of movement.
2. Traffic will be diverted to all vehicles on the secondary road, which will operate in one direction.
3. We recommend road users who will then choose alternative ways to move north (from Camza) and south (from Rudoqi or Elbasan).
Workers of the Albanian Road Authority, the Road Circulation Police and maintenance firms will be on the ground for the management of intervention and traffic orientation according to the approved and displayed management plan.
It is required that leaders of the means respect the road rules, pro-visual signals placed in the segments where they will be worked and police guidelines. /Periscopi
