He said that in a discussion with students under the Anti-Corruption Week, organised by the <x0-> Movement. Speak” and “Democracy Plus”.
She added that Kosovo continues to fare badly in corruption, based on international reports, such as the “Transparency International” index.
Asked by students what are three concrete steps to prevent corruption, she said it would have to be political will, legal grounds, as well as professionalising police, prosecution and courts.
Haxhiu has also talked about visa liberalisation, saying Kosovo has not worked enough to gain that right.
