The FBI has begun to investigate these threats, saying a similar wave of threats to schools and other public buildings occurred a year ago or more without consequences, but the authenticity of the recent series was not immediately confirmed, said a law enforcement official under Euronews.
“We are aware of threats made in cities across the country”, said Rukelt Dalberis, an FBI spokesman in Los Angeles. “We remain in contact with our law enforcement partners. We encourage the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities that could pose a threat to”.
The New York Police Department said in a Twitter message that it does not consider threats to be credible at this time.
