We are grieving the death of Kosovo's friend, British diplomat Paddy Ashdown. It was the most powerful voice of NATO intervention to prevent ethnic cleansing in Kosovo. Ashdown was also a staunch supporter of Kosovo's independence. I am very honored that in the last two decades, I have co-operated closely with him for Kosovo's freedom and independence. Genuine condolences to the British family, friends, and people. HTH
