188 thousand jobs, more than ever before, are in Switzerland.
By December 15, 2018, there were 188,367 declarations for work. Last year's record has been exceeded. Last year, 164886 jobs were reported. This was shown by the X28 work radar, which uses the research engine to record company websites and labor portals for the whole of Switzerland, writes Albinfo.ch.
Growth in the labour market continues. Not only nurses, construction workers, and computer scientists are required in Switzerland but also the labor force for retail trade, public administration, and architecture / planning.
Compared to mid - December 2017, the rates of free jobs for construction workers increased (with a plus of about 4,000). Amazingly, even retail trade requires more employees (plus below just 3,000). Job statements also increased in the health care sector (Plus 22000) and in the gastronomy industry / hotelier (plus 2000).
It is not surprising, therefore, that the number of unemployed is at a very low level. The rate rose slightly to 2.5 percent in November 2018, remaining 2.4 percent since May of this year. Adapted to seasonal effects, however, fell from 2.5 to 2.4 percent.
