Before many of the KSF's top soldiers and superiors, President Hashim Thaci has said that the KSF's journey symbolizes the movement and development of our state, proving that we have gone through challenges to this day, but achieving the goal.
“Kosova, congratulations military. Today, you members of the Kosovo Security Force, with dignity and pride, are representing Kosovo throughout the world. Your results are excellent. You are achieving success in international competitions, along with the armies of the world's most professional and powerful nations. By your work, by your successes, our people are proud every day of”, he said.
President Thaci has said the decision to change and advance the mandate of the Kosovo Security Force, giving it The KSF's competencies of the real army are largely credited to KSF soldiers themselves.
“Today every citizen of the country must be proud. Today I am among you, to thank you on behalf of the citizens and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo. I'm here today to congratulate all citizens of Kosovo on our army”, he said.
