Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala on a television presentation with Bosnian counterpart Mirko Sarovic has had a clash over the introduction of the tax.
While the Minister of Economic Development in Bosnia, Sarovic has said that Kosovo has decided this tax for political reasons.
He has stressed that they will complain to the European Commission and seek Kosovo's exemption from CEFTA.
We have complained to the European Commission. It is a more political decision, and it has not been necessary at all”, Sarovic said.
That statement prompted Kosovo Minister Andrew Shala's reaction. He said Bosnia doesn't even know Kosovo documentation, and quit the goods.
No merchandise ever circulated around Bosnia. You must seriously treat Kosovo as a state. If you want to have trade reports with Kosovo, you should have attitude towards Kosovo with respect”, Shala said.
He also had a request for the Bosnian minister.
I had suggested that the minister, who is wasting his time Bosnia, complain the European Commission to expel Kosovo from CEFTA, better use this time to improve reports with Kosovo”, Andrew Shala said.
The charge was also made by the head of the Serbian Economic Ode, Nenad Djurdevic.
