Deputy Minister of the Kosovo Security Force Burim Ramadani has reacted after statements that Secretary General NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, who has said Kosovo will face serious consequences if it continues to transform the KSF into the military.
On this occasion Ramadani has said there is no room for confusion, since the transformation of KSF is in line with NATO directives.
There's no room for confusion. The KSF transfer is in line with Kosovo's bilateral and multilateral commitments with NATO member states, as well as with NATO headquarters. We need to understand NATO's difficulties for consensus because of non-recognitional states there. We unfortunately have not had direct access to the capitals of some of these non-recognising states to explain the process and the Kosovo plan” has written Ramadan on Facebook.
