After the government, this contract is expected to violate “Bechtel & Enka” itself, as Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekaj has said the work may not be completed by December 31st, as the contract envisions, KTV reports.
To blame for this, Lekaj has made the low temperatures that reign during December.
Lawyer Arianan Koci requires that “Bechtel Enka” be punished if the work is not done on time. He calls the reason for inadequate winter weather insulting.
Measure companies to the company also require economist Iron Murati, under which the failure to complete the highway causes economic damage to the country.
At Bechtel Enka have not commented on the possibility of eventual punishment, but have pledged that they will complete their obligations under the contract.
This highway, which connects Kosovo with Macedonia, has cost the country's 600m euros budget.
