Police identify 29 children seeking charity, most are from Kosovo, some from Albania

Kosovo police have identified 29 alms-seeking children, 21 of them citizens of Kosovo and 8 citizens of Albania.

Regarding the case, police have identified 13 suspected persons.

Police report that 10 cases have been initiated by Article 250 of the Penal Code for Treatment or Abandonion of the child, all child-inquiry children have been accompanied by their families, during interrogation no victim of trafficking has been identified, foreign citizens have surrendered to the Directorate for Migration and Foreign Migration to proceed with actions based on the Foreign Law, for Kosovo citizens, in consultation with relevant prosecutors, 10 cases of prosecution or abandoning the child.
