Remzi Shala, former Kosovo Liberation Army member, chose not to respond to the Special Court's invitation to interview.
Once he received this invitation from the Prosecutor's Specialised Chambers, Shala, left his house, writes the news.net.
As his family say they do not know where Shala has gone, a friend of his has told him the news.net that the same one has come out of Kosovo.
He even says he hasn't contacted him since the day he left.
He doesn't even have his lawyer, Natal Bullaki.
He said today that since the day Shala received an invitation from the Special Court, he had no contact with her.
I haven't had contact with him since the day he received an invitation from the Special Court. Family doesn't know where he is. I have appealed where he wants to appear, because he must prove his innocence, but not in this form”, he said.
Asked whether the law enforcement agencies have been notified about his escape, Bulaaj said that surely something like this happened because all security institutions have been notified about the case, whether by the media or by different persons.
We remember that invitations from the Special Court have already been made public for six former KLA participants.
These include two high profile KLA figures, such as Sami Lushtaku's Rrustem Mustafa.
