The northern municipalities have been without chairmanship for 11 days now, but the Ministry of Administration of Local Power has not yet made a decision whether the resignations will be accepted and new elections announced in those municipalities.

11 days have passed since the mayors of four northern municipalities resigned, but the Local Power Management Ministry has yet to decide whether to accept the resignations and announce new elections in those municipalities.

The newspaper “Voice” reported days ago that the mayors of four northern municipalities were referred to the Republic of Kosovo as “Kosovo and Metohija”, so according to sources within the Government these resignations cannot be accepted and the elections for those municipalities will not be announced at this time
