The municipalities are meeting the basic criteria, with difficulty towards the EU

So far it is estimated that municipalities have fulfilled 67 percent of the EU criteria required by them, but that all have to do with meeting the theoretical conditions, writes “Koha Ditore” today. When it comes to applying these criteria in practice, the biggest challenges will be highlighted, say connoisseurs.
The SAA, a document ratified by the Kosovo Assembly in November 2015, obliges Kosovo to undertake a series of measures and reforms aimed at integration into the European Union (BE). There are 146 measures falling under the responsibility of Kosovo municipalities.
All the criteria Kosovo must meet, and therefore the local level emerging from the SAA, are divided into economic, political and European standards criteria.
