In a pronomation for Telegrafi, Fatmir Hajolli -- foreign minister's adviser Behgjet Pacolli -- has said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not accepted any official documents from this state and does not comment on unverified documents, which can circulate with propaganda purposes, suspicious agendas and to create false news”.
“Mes independent and sovereign states that have confirmed the establishment of diplomatic relations, or have established them, the concept and practice of non-recognition. This is a fundamental rule of global order. This is an ABC in diplomacy and in international relations, which belong to the Solomon Islands, the Republic of Kosovo, and the entire list of sovereign and independent countries”, Hajoli said, of Telegrafi.
The Solomon Islands have recognised the Republic of Kosovo in 2014, while a year later diplomatic relations have also been established. Since then, Kosovo representatives have consistently had bilateral meetings with representatives of this state.
Otherwise, KTV has reported today that the Solomon Islands have announced the Government of Kosovo for attracting recognition.
