Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Fatmir Matoshi, along with ministers, deputy ministers, and civil society, today have held the Task Force's upcoming environmental cleanup meeting.
In this case, Minister Matosi said the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning has undertaken a series of actions during this three-month action “to clear Kosovo”.
“E considers the action successful to clear Kosovo even in completing the legal aspect. We have promised at the beginning of the campaign that will be signed and will enter into force the Administrator Guide for Joba Mandatore, and it has been completed for a month. We have also completed the final draft of the strategy for waste management as we have pledged and have promised at the start of this” campaign, Minister Matoshi said.
MMPH leader Mattosi indicated that during this period the 1.2m-euro grant has been announced to perform the most successful action municipalities “to clean Kosovo” as promised.
Matosh indicated that during the period of environmental cleanup action, certain actions have also been taken that will contribute to conservation.
“During this action, cleaning companies have been distributed 1,000 uniforms to workers. Together with the GAC and )Let's do it Kosovaʹ, we are drafting the plan to distribute 500 containers and 500 baskets that will be placed at border points, road belts and along the generations of lakes. There are 500 signs that are required not to drop waste at certain locations. We have also been set for the 6 criteria that must meet municipalities to earn the 1.2m-euro grants”, Matoshi indicated.
While Luan Hasanaj from the organisation “Let's do Kosovo “, presented the preliminary report on environmental cleanup activities from September 15th to today.
“There are 707 locations which have been cleared in all Kosovo municipalities during the period of the duration of the action. Deponds are very large and there are locations that have been evacuated to 600 trucks. It is a number of over 30 million construction remains that have been evacuated over the past few months as long as the” action has lasted, Hasanaj said.
While Kosovo Security Force Minister Rrustem Berisha indicated that this dictatorship has contributed to the removal of the deposits in Obilic's Miras.
The Kosovo Security Force has backed the action, which has won from September 15th to now. We've had one of the tasks to carry waste from the warehouse to Meash-Obilic, and so far 200 waste trucks have been loaded around”, Berisha said.
Other members of the Task Force for environmental cleanup have also reported on jobs performed during the period of this action.
