Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that adding NATO and the European Union's presence in the Balkans is a tendency to destabilise the region.
The “Situate in the Balkans is in a state of concern and what we are seeing, adding the presence of NATO and the EU in this country is a destabilising step. They are placing these places before a major dilemma: whether they want to be with Moscow, Washington or Brussels”, Lavrov said, following Periscopi.
We remember that Russia, Lavrov's ministry, has reacted sharply in terms of Kosovo's warnings to establish the Kosovo Army on 14 December respectively. Russia has called this a step that can destabilise the region./Periscopi/
