(7 years ago)Another Kosovar has recently been killed in Syria. The murdered Kosovar is a young man from Vushtrria. The victim is Hysen Kacanolli. Express has published a photograph of Kacanoll while he was alive in Syria.
In the photo he is seen wearing army clothes, as close as there is an automatic weapon.
Otherwise, to date, the number of Kosovo citizens killed in Syria and Iraq reportedly is about 80, up to 200 of them reportedly still located in conflict areas in Asia.
Meanwhile, today the Kosovo Special Prosecutor has filed charges of terrorism against Murat Derjani. He was allegedly part of the ISIS.
German citizens were arrested this year in Turkey. He is suspected of being a close associate of Lavdrim Muharır, the Albanian chief-in-chief killed in Syria.
Kosovo is ranked among states with the largest number of citizens joining terrorist organisations “ISIS” of “Al-Nusra” in Syria and Iraq, compared to the total number of residents.
