KEK spokesman Skender Bucolli has denied canceling the competition as reported to the media.
He said about The KP is doing the ID and review of numerous accepted applications.
The competition is closed at the end of the week, December 14, 2018. Right now we're doing the preliminary ID of all accepted apps, the number of which is huge. In the coming days, we will proceed with the steps that are envisioned, carefully respecting internal regulations, administrative guidelines and the Labour Law”, Bucolli said.
While the deputy head of the New Trade Corporation of Kosovo's Energy Union, Nexhat Llumnica, has said it would be legal violations if this competition is cancelled.
The competition for over 100 free jobs has competed over 19 thousand people. We actually consider that we should proceed and continue this process, despite the large number of those who have applied, because they have legal rights for all those who have sought jobs in the competition declared by KEK”, says Llumnica for Kosova Preress.
He added that there have been irregularities in this competition so far.
As far as I've noticed. I don't think there's anything wrong, but competition is huge because of domestic unemployment. And that might be why they applied so much. For the fact that all Kosovo citizens have equal rights, then, according to me, it is not good to cancel this competition, given the time this process has to take, he says.
