Isa Mustafa complains to ambassadors for Thaci

Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Isa Mustafa today has forwarded to the ambassadors of the states of Quintus, the OSCE and the EU Office in Pristina a letter in which he has clarified the position of the Democratic League of Kosovo, as they say, about President Thaci's tendencies in stalling the appointment of CEC members, since 27 [...]

According to an LDK communiqué, the letter explains and reacts to President Thaci's tendency, without the legal and constitutional grounds to guarantee the ruling coalition, the majority in the CEC by damaging and violating the constitutional rights of the LDK, which belonged to two members in the CEC, and not only one, as President Thaci claims.

“In the end, President Mustafa announced that the LDK is extremely determined to defend its right to ordination in the CEC in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, and in case it does not materialise this right it will refer the issue to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo”, the LDK communiqué says.
