Three years after the Special Court Law has passed to the Kosovo Convention Specialised Prosecutor in recent days, he has taken the first steps towards interviewing former Kosovo Liberation Army superiors (UÇK).
The first to have confirmed acceptance of the invitation by the Specialised Prosecutor is the former commander of the Llap Operative Zone, Rrustem Mustafa. Commander “Remi”, as his lawyer announced, is expected to be interviewed on January 14th of next year (2019), though he has not specified the quality of the interview.
After this newspaper “Voice” has contacted officials of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office, but they have not stated, nor denied. Meanwhile, news of the interview of former commander “Remit” has not been well received by representatives of the KLA Veterans Organisation, which the Special Court has compared to the courts of fascism. On the other hand, despite the law connoisseurs' invitation to the Mustafa interview they view as activism of the Special, former KLA commanders have voiced confidence that this Court will fail. /zer
