During yesterday's day about a thousand Santas have run to the city of Pristina. This mini-marathon, which this year has been organised for the third time, aims that the collected means go to 500 families in need.
These thousand fathers also received attention from other parts of the world. Many international media have reported on Kosovo's parents.
“More than a thousand Santas have flooded streets in Kosovo's capital on Sunday to help needy families”, writes American portal “Abc Nese”
It was the third year in Pristina that needy families are assisted by these Santa Clauses for holiday holidays.
Many of the runners wore red hats and father - in - law jackets with some long, white sports beards.
Event organiser Jusuf Islami has told the Associated Press that the number of participants has increased annually, adding that the money raised this year was enough to support 500 families. Islam described the event as a <x0mini-marithia humanitarian marathon”.
And after the end of the mini-marathon, Yusuf, in a fine line dressed as a baddier, has proposed his girlfriend's engagement.
