Hehn speaking to reporters in the “EU-Serbia-x1 Group acceptance conference, has said the 100 per cent tax imposed by Kosovo is fundamentally against the values of free trade.
“When I was in Belgrade and Pristina, I offered our good services to resolve the barriers to free trade. It was clear that the introduction of the 100 per cent fee for goods imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina is entirely against the CEFTA free trade spirit”.
This is why I believe we should remove the barriers to free trade and seek a quick solution because it will be in the interest of all”.
“Vonence is unacceptable to us. Again, the tax is against the spirit of progress in terms of regional co-operation. Regional co-operation can only be developed through free trade, free movement of goods and free movement of people”
