Former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski's escape remains a hot topic in Macedonia, as the country's former leader continues to stay in Hungary, where the Vitkor Orban government is considering his call for political asylum.
The Interior Ministry in Macedonia has come up with details of a secret report, underlining that there has been no information, or powerful indicator that Gruevski was preparing the escape, but there were doubts that he could flee to seek refuge in Greece.
We have had certain indicators that Gruevski through Dojran, with the help of some of his people, would flee to Greece. There were words that he supposedly rented three apartments in Thessaloniki, where he would stay, and the other two would serve to lose traces of”, Greek media write Macedonia's MPB.
