Independent MP in the Kosovo Assembly, Ilir Deda, has commented on the offer the EU has made to Kosovo in exchange for tax removal 100 per cent for import of goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He said she's subsequently no offer.
Mrs. Mogheriers you (Kosovo) suspend the 100% tax, we ( The EU will advance you from UNMIK to Kosovo** on CEFTA is everything but an offer”, Deda has said.
A joint letter of EU High Representative Federica Moghrini, Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom and Commissioner Johannes Hahn have addressed Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, saying they offer among other things that the appointment “U n NMIC” in CEFTA to be replaced by “Kosovo*”. But they demand that, as a sign of goodwill, before Monday 17 December, when the meeting of the SAA Council takes place in Brussels, Kosovo temporarily suspends implementation of the goods tax decision by Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Deda has gone a step beyond, being exactly Moghrin and the EU facilitating in Kosovo's dialogue with Serbia.
“IF the final phase of dialogue with Serbia is about recognition of the Republic of Kosovo, what is UNMIK's financing for Kosovo?
IF the final phase of the dialogue is for good neighbourly relations between the two states, which resolve all open issues with internationally binding legal agreement, then Kosovo will be removed from use. And UNMIK”, said Deda, conveys Time.net. “Inlinely, from Brussels there is no offer”, it added later.
