A day before the KSF takes over the new mission -- that protection from the Kosovo Assembly -- the security situation in the country's north has been calm.
The police were seen in many parts of the city. And, for Friday, the Kosovo Police will add more to the presence of police officials, KTV reports.
During the day, KFOR convoys have been seen moving to the northern part of Kosovo.
The surveillance of the security situation was also made by air.
KFOR spokesman Vincenzo Grasso has declared that KFOR's convoy of vehicles towards northern Kosovo is part of regular exercises.
He has denied that this exercise relates to voting in the Army Assembly.
Albanian citizens welcome the vote for the military.
But Serbian citizens, some of whom have continued the protest Thursday, say the country does not need Army.
I think it's an expense to the state. What do we need in the army, are we going to fight again? I don't believe that, but the army of S'ena should, neither ours nor yours. We just don't need him. I want this case settled. We want harmony because we have to live together”, Milos Stanic said, citizen.
We live here well. The situation is calm. We don't want you to provoke us. But we live well. We don't get involved in politics at all. I left Peja and I don't like this situation. The state, however, must be one not two”, Juliana Rukiq has said.
As far north of Mitrovica dominated Serbian flags, American flags have been posted on the southern side of the city.
