On Monday in Brussels, the European Union's Foreign Ministers Council is expected to meet, where they will discuss the situation in the Western Balkans and the challenges facing the countries of the region.
The EU Council is expected to reiterate the position that Pristina must revote tariffs for goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and that the mandate of the Kosovo Security Force can be changed only in accordance with the constitution and with the dialogue of all competent factors.
Tanjug Using, reports that ministers will focus on Bosnia and Herzegovina's situation after elections, implementation of the Skopje and Athens Agreement for the name, as well as developments in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.
Meanwhile, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has reaffirmed on Friday that there is no dilemma about voting the three bills for transforming the Kosovo Security Force into military capacities, on December 14th, the telegraph.
“NATO is an organisation of several security countries and the opinion of a NATO member does not return to the decision, in fact, decisions are made only when all agree, so we do not mind working with NATO. If this is a request and is not approved by others it does not change anything”, Haradinaj has said.
There was also opposition from the secretary - general NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
Stoltenberg warned official Pristina that it will face “serious consequences if it continues with transforming the Kosovo Security Force into the Kosovo Army”.
According to Stoltenberg, this process is being guided “into a highly inappropriate moment, without respect for procedures”.
In addition to the tax, the Government of Kosovo is also thinking about setting new measures on Serbia.
On Sunday during the day, media in Kosovo, but even in Serbia have reported that three new measures are expected against Serbia.
Among the measures were also reported the ban on the entry of Serbian officials to Kosovo, and also the ban on the intervention of Serbian license plates.
