A community that doesn't spend money on decorating.

Elez Han's Mayor Rufki Suma has not decorated the city for the holiday season at all. He says that the money that would go for the city's decoration would direct them to help the citizens we need. Suma, as in the last three sides of the election, is for this decision and has civic support.

The Elez Khan municipality has not changed at all for the holiday season. Until other municipalities share tens of thousands of euros, this municipality for decorations has not divided a cent.

Mayor Rufki Suma says the money, instead of sending it to the city's decoration, will be shared by citizens in need.

“And we as the Communists will share gifts for children. It's the criteria for children under the age of 16. It is understandable to all the children on the staff of the municipality, health, education, but usually we share gifts for the poor, hendikepuar or other social cases”, declared for RTV Dukagjin, Rufki Suma.

Suma even says that she has talked to citizens, and they never asked for the city's decoration for holiday holidays.

“Zaconally in our tradition, even our citizens do decorations on family bases or businesses, but at an organised level we never had any decorations”, Rufki Suma said.

And Suma, who is elected mayor in this municipality for the third time without a run-off, has citizens behind them for the decision.

When we can afford some poor or sick kid, says citizen Avdush Calec.

“We exiles must understand things because Italy is an old state, we cannot compare ourselves to other states like the Elez Khan Community or other Kosovo municipalities”, said Halil Haxam, an exile from Hani Elez in Italy.
