Cars not allowed to be imported to Albania

The Directorate General of Customs brings into focus the categories for which this decision will be implemented and will not be implemented.
This decision does not apply to the import of early vehicles with historical interest and collection, such as vehicles produced until December 1970, vehicles introduced as a production model until December 31st 1970, despite the current year of production of a particular vehicle, vehicles, which present technically museum or cultural values, traditional and social heritage, as well as motor vehicles imported from physical and legal subjects with humanitarian help, in line with national legislation regulating donations and humanitarian aid.
In line with this decision, vehicles that will be imported to the Republic of Albania must meet technical conditions related to the functional characteristics of their systems and equipment and technical-uses, which must correspond to the envisioned tools as follows. These conditions are determined with instructions from the minister responsible for transport.
With the entry into force of this decision, they are allowed to register for the first time on the territory of the Republic of Albania, motor vehicles and vehicles that meet the following conditions:
The new zerokm autoves that have never been registered for circulation in any other country, which meet the European Union's Euro 5, rate;
Other new motor vehicles, such as motors, buses, M2 and N1 categories trucks, zerokm and never registered for circulation in any other country, which meet the European Union's Euro 5, rate;
The used autoves (all that are not zerokm and previously registered for street circulation in another country that meet the Euro 4 rate) must have been produced no more than 10 years before the first census date in Albania;
Other motor vehicles used as motors, buses, trucks, M2 and N1 categories (all those that are zerokm short and previously registered for street circulation in another country that meet the Euro 3 rate) must have been produced no more than 15 years before the first census date in Albania.
