Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, has criticised the statements of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, made during his recent visit to Kosovo, calling them untrue.

According to her, Rama, when speaking of violating the CEFTA agreement, has tried to exploit this issue for blaming Serbia, as she says about all of Pristina's unreasonable actions, writes Tanjug, broadcast the Express newspaper.

Brnabyq has described as naive the support Edi Rama has said to the tax settlement of 100 percent, since, according to her, such a decision corresponds to the wisdom of 19th century politics.

“Pristina is working on 19th century politics. I call on Pristina authorities to explain the real reasons for imposing the tax on Serbian products, because so far they have made more excuses”, Brnabiq was quoted as saying.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his visit to Kosovo after the two governments' meeting, had declared that the tax imposed by the Republic of Kosovo is not a necessary economic action, but a much needed political action, which he said would support to the end.
