The head of the Assembly next Monday will set the date for voting three bills to transform the KSF. “Zit” sources indicate that the Kosovo Army will be voted in the Assembly on 14 December this year. Days ago, it was reported that the army vote would take place in the first half of this month (December).

Kosovo's second reading vote in the Kosovo Assembly of three bills enabling the transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces (FSK) into the Kosovo Army will take place at this year's December 14th session, the sources of the newspaper “Zri” suggest.

Before the vote takes place next Monday, December 3rd, the Parliament's Chairmanship will set the session date, which according to these sources will be on Friday, December 14th. The newspaper “Voice” days ago reported that Kosovo's army will be voted in during the first half of this month, though initially thought the vote would take place on 6 December or 13 December, while parliamentary groups have already agreed that such a vote would take place on December 14th.

Even the head of the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament, Kadri Veselin, on Friday at his meeting with the new commander of KFOR in Kosovo, Laurenzo Dãodari, has announced this concerning the procedure to transform the Kosovo Security Force into the Armed Forces.

Wessel has in this case revealed to the new KFOR commander the final steps that the Republic of Kosovo's Parliament will take during December to transform the Kosovo Security Force into Armed Forces. Kosovo's “Armed Forces will be a well-equipped, multiethnic force and NATO's worthy ally to offer peace throughout the region and, by extension,”, Veselin has said among other things.
