Serbs are in panic, as Kosovo's Parliament voted laws that pave the way for the transformation of KSF into the military.

The Serbian list, which did not participate in the Assembly session, actually held a press conference from what it called the Crisis Staff. From there, Serbian citizens addressed northern Mitrovica Mayor Goran Rakiq and Serb List MP Igor Sibiu.

The two demanded that Serbs refrain from falling prey to provocations, but said no armed forces have room in the north.

“In Pristina in the presence of all international representatives, before UN and EU eyes, UN Resolution 1244 was violated. In the most brutal form, Pristina attacked peace in this region. You remind me that the armed forces except KFOR, which with Resolution 1244 have a mandate, no other power has what to ask here, said Goran Rakiq, chairman of Northern Mitrovica's resignation.

“is a state of emergency and cannot pre-represent activities in Pristina. However, if necessary, we will protect our people ourselves, but we know that Serbia is with us. What happened today in Pristina, is contrary to any law”, said Igor Sim enemies, deputy of the Serbian List.

The Serbian list also, warned that for this vote in the Assembly, it would complain to the Constitutional Court.

On the other hand, harsh reactions took place in Belgrade. The Serbian government has condemned Pristina's decision to establish the army in the harshest manner and praised that this is by far the biggest threat from Pristina for peace in the region.

Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said that “this army made up of terrorists” was formed to attack Serbia and Serbs. And, chief of the Kosovo Office in the Serbian Government, Marko Djurovic, has called on Serbs in Kosovo not to become part of the army.

Kosovo's “Army is illegal occupation formation on Serbian territory. The character in this formation is clear. The decision on forming the military is aimed at violent changing our borders. I call on Serbian and Albanian citizens in Serbia not to line up in this illegal formation. Serbian organs have the duty to confirm the identity of those who become part of this formation and arrest”, Marko Djuric, director of the Office for Kosovo in the Serbian Government, has said.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, during Friday, has called for holding the UN's extraordinary KS session, due to the violation of Resolution 1244.

“This is the most direct threat to peace and stability in the region and the security of the Serbian people living in Kosovo”, he has said.

And this resolution, during an action to oppose the formation of the Kosovo Army, students in northern Mitrovica have buried it along with Kumanovo's military-technical agreement.
