INSTAT with the support of the minister of State, for the first time publishes a concrete study on the Diaspora, titled “Albania's diaspora in figure”.
This study was conducted on the basis of indirect assessments conducted during 2018. According to data, the number of Albanians in the new Diaspora is estimated to be around 1.6 million, otherwise said 36 % of Albanian citizens live outside Albania.
This publication is carried out under the National Strategy for Diaspora. Its goal is to assess the number of Albanian Diaspore and its profile on basic demographic and social characteristics. Report ATSH.
