Albanian lawyer reasons Ashkali sentence for 430 Euro

Koci argued in question, saying this is armed robbery, not theft.

For that, he holds that every armed robbery has a minimum sentence of 7 years! However, he has added that the convict is entitled to complaint in this case.

There were numerous reactions to this court decision. Kosovo MPs have already started signing a petition through which they are seeking his release.

“United member Ashkali for the theft of 430 euros, was sentenced by many individuals, including politician ) because it alludes that a 7-year sentence for “just” that is a Dracnic sentence, and that's because of having racism of the court.
That is not accurate!
First of all, it seems, it's not about stealing, it's about robbery, according to all likelihood armed robbery.
However, without wanting to go into question whether the convict is guilty first or not, I have to explain:
Article 329 paragraph 3 of the Penal Code predicts that anyone who commits the crime of robbery, acts as a member of the group or who has a gun or dangerous means, the chief is fined and sentenced to seven (7) to twelve years:
So armed robbery has its first legal sentence, minimum seven years.
It doesn't matter what the value is.
However, the other problem is the guilt or innocence of convicts in the first instance.
The same member of the Ashkali community has a right to complaint!
He may not be guilty.
That's why the highest instate courts decide.
Hence, it is not enough just to raise the wages of judges.
