Wonders in our country have no end. Especially in state institutions. When you think that the end has been touched, news comes that exposes you. Thus, the army of Kosovo government ministers with the indictment has joined its newest minister, the interior minister, for whose appointment Ferizaj had celebrated. Ekrem Mustafa himself says he is innocent and that some of the expertise of this accident has been mounted.
The appointment of Ekrem Mustafa in the position of Minister of Internal Affairs had become a small holiday for Ferizaj citizens, and a big fun for the rest of Kosovo.
This was probably the first time in Kosovo's political history, that an MP, in this case Labinoto Tahiri, had managed to impose a minister, except that he was from Ferizaj, which, according to Labus, would have to have one. Professional qualifications in this case were trivial. And obviously no one had even asked him if he had a problem with the law.
The deputy head of the AKR branch in the town of Ferizaj, Ekrem Mustafa, was appointed to the post of interior affairs minister, but the same is in a court process. He is charged with an indictment for criminal work “jeopardising public traffic”. This confirmed by Ferizaj's Foundation Court.
I inform you that the defendant, as in your request, is charged under the Act of Basic Prosecution at Ferizaj as noted as: PP/II.nr.1075-14 of the 2103.2017 date, due to the criminal act endangering public traffic from Article 378 paragraph 8 concerning paragraph 6 and 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code”, the Court's response is said. The court hearing in this case is scheduled to be held during December 2018.
The Express newspaper has secured parts of the indictment with which current MPB Minister Ekrem Mustafa is charged.
It says that four years ago, in 2014, Mustafa has risked public traffic and people's lives. The case had occurred at the Ferizaj-Pristina magistrate, specifically in the village of Prelez. Serious body injuries according to the indictment have suffered two persons, and another one has been less injured. Material damage to cars involved in the accident has also been caused.
