In a brief word after the action, Trump said that he understood his counterpart better through Spanish than his translation and that they have been good friends for a long time.
This was not the only embarrassing moment, however, since once again the two presidents seemed to disagree very well during the time that leaders were being delved into the so - called family photo, a routine process at such summits.
Trump appears to have arrived first at the podium and left, leaving counterpart Macri under surprise.
The latter tried to call him, but he received no response from Washington's leader as his body language also demonstrated some disappointment.
